Burn, Rewrite or Reread Book Tag
(stolen shamelessly from Dreamy Addictions)
So, here’s what to do:
- Randomly choose 3 books.(It’s easiest to use the ‘Random’ option on your Goodreads read shelf.)
- For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread.
- Repeat until you completed three rounds.
Round 1:
Rewrite: Insurgent (Divergent #2) by Veronica Roth (4 stars) – Divergent was fine, but Insurgent and Allegant just need a re-write.
Reread: Dying Bites (Bloodhound Files #1) by D.D. Barant (4 stars) – This a fun shoot-em-up type book… only with the supernatural added in. Not a classic, but not bad, either.
Burn: Breaking Dawn (Twilight #4) by Stephenie Meyer (2 stars) – I apologize to you Twilight fans, but I couldn’t stand the whole series. Admittedly- they are better than the movies, but not by much.
Round 2:
Reread: The Secret Of The Old Clock (Nancy Drew #1) by Carolyn Keene (4 stars) – You don’t mess with classics.
Rewrite: Shadow of the Hegemon (Ender’s Shadow #2) by Orson Scott Card (4 stars) – But only a little. The whole Shadow series is superfluous, in my opinion.
Burn: The House of Silk (Sherlock Holmes #1) by Anthony Horowitz (2 stars) – Just… disappointing.
Round 3:
Burn: Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (Assassin’s Creed #2) by Oliver Bowden (3 stars) – The first book was fine, but this one was really hard to get through. You stop caring right around Chapter Two… (Which is odd, because I love watching my Hubby play this video game.)
Reread: Doubleblind (Sirantha Jax #3) by Ann Aguirre (4 stars) – I love the whole Sirantha Jax series.
Rewrite: Snow Like Ashes #1 by Sara Raasch (4 stars) – Not really, but the random option falls where it wants. It’s a good book.
