I met a lovely crocheter on Monday. I actually also met a lovely knitter, but the Hubby had to go back for his procedure, so we didn’t get to shop talk. 🙂

inOnce a month (usually around the end)- I surf Ravelry and look at all the new patterns that have been posted during that month. And I haven’t done this since May, so we are VERY overdue!

inI had a friend, named Tony. He was also a member of my church. He died (rather unexpectedly) on August 25th this year. The first thing I remember thinking when I heard the news of his passing, is that I would never get a hug from him again. He gave great hugs.

I need a skein of yarn. This is completely true – not a dream. I ran out of Lion Brand Landscapes (Ochre colorway) exactly four rows (and a bind off) from finishing last night. And my subconscious is VERY upset about it.
I’m not sure how the dream starts, but I end up travelling from exotic place to place, pawing through people’s WIPs, and holding a pretty sock or scarf for ransom until they tearfully promise to find me the skein of yarn I’m missing. The thing is- I did it at least five times, to random people in five different beachy locations. Paw through stash, find something pretty that said knitter is working on and definitely loves, hold it up in front of them, make them tearfully promise to find my yarn; and then dash away with said WIP.
Man- my subconscious is messed up.

Day 30: Your Hopes For Your Blog
At first- I wanted to say that I don’t have hopes for this blog, because I’m already achieving what I set out to do: have a place to hold myself accountable in my knitting and writing. But since I do want to develop my own Yarn business- I need to start thinking about the near future. Whether I want a separate Shop Blog, or incorporate this one. I also want to write more. I’ve already been looking for more writing challenges, so we’ll see what pops up in the future!
So I guess my hope is that my blog (or blogs if that is what I choose to do) will grow as I do. I apparently have some big changes on the horizon, so hopefully I can adapt and grow, and so will my blog(s). And until I have a more definite direction- that’s as specific as I dare to get.

Last Day! Some days were uncomfortable, but I answered everything!
